PBS ENERGO, a.s. was established in 2006 as the joint venture of PBS Velká Bíteš, a.s. and ČKD NOVÉ ENERGO, a.s. It was formed from part of the Turbine Division of PBS Velká Bíteš, a.s. and has since taken over its manufacturing programme.
You may have first come across some of the company's products as long ago as 1968. The first items off the production line were low-temperature expansion turbines, followed by the Mv, PC and PCPL series steam turbines. High-speed STG turbines, which were introduced in 1992, remain an important extension of the product range. Last but not least, was the manufacture of steam condensing and back pressure, multi-stage axial turbines of the TG series - the result of scientific and technical development, having been produced in response to the latest trends.
Today, PBS ENERGO, a.s. is a modern company continuing in the tradition of manufacturing power equipment at PBS Velká Bíteš. This firm specialises in providing services and products to high technical standards, our goods being designed with simplicity in mind, proving easy to operate and maintain and very reliable. The company is able to react in a flexible way to clients' requirements, and is proud of its highly reliable service. In fact, PBS ENERGO's success in this business sector is attributable to the high quality of its products and services delivered to customers.
The items manufactured, as described in detail on the following pages, have been sold and exported to various countries all over the world. The most popular sales are accounted for by steam and gas expansion turbines, which have over four hundred different applications. With experienced and qualified staff responsible for manufacturing goods, clients can rest assured that everything listed will be produced to the highest possible standard. In addition, we cooperate with renowned academic institutions and design organisations.
In 2006, PBS ENERGO, a.s. was certified according to EN ISO 9001:2000 and EN ISO 14001:2004. Our products are designed using the latest, thoroughly tested computing methods on workstations equipped with SW Pro/ENGINEER, with an information system transferring data between separate pre-production and production points. The basic components within products are made using reliable CNC machines.
PBS ENERGO, a.s. is able to deliver individual items as well as complete plants. Prior to contract for such a facility, we thoroughly study the technology a client has in place and the operation of the plant as a whole, in accordance with the requirements and concepts of the end user.
Steam turbines are used to generate both power and heat. When it comes to supplying steam and gas expansion turbines, our taking part in the design process can significantly contribute to optimising an entire plant. Sometimes specialists picked from among our subcontractors are invited to get involved. We believe that the same level of cooperation should also be available to those interested in single items. This is because, in today’s ever-changing world, the highest possible standards can only be achieved if everyone participating in the process works together, which is no doubt the goal of customers as well as all suppliers.
