Non-destructive testing
personnel and references
The personnel is fully qualified in levels 2 and 3 in accordance with the standards EN 473, NAS 410 and ČSN EN 4179. The company is also a founding member of Certification Association for the Personnel (APC).
NDT workplace is approved to carry out non-destructive testing for companies like General Eletric Aicraft Engines, Parker Hanifin Corp, etc.
radiographic testing of castings and welds
Radiography is carried out on X-ray equipment PHILIPS MG 452; applicable voltage compliance 20 - 450 kV, max. current 15 mA; option to switch between 2 focuses; size 1 mm resp. 4 mm AGFA STRUCTURIX X-ray films are used for this purpose along with the automatic developing equipment AGFA STRUCTURIX NDT E. Commonly radiable thickness of steel: 1 ÷ 100 mm.
fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI)
FPI are carried out by sensitive fluorescent agents MET-L-CHEK, approved by the aircraft and cosmonautic industries QPL AMS 2644 standards.
magnetic particle inspection of ferromagnetic materials (MT)
MT is carried out on the stationary magnetizer UNIMAG 600 (DC-driven) or by means of mobile magnetic yoke (AC-driven). Suspension with magnetic powder MAGNAGLO 14A. The method conforms to standard ASTM E 1444.
ultrasonic testing of forgings and welds (UT)
UT is carried out on ultrasonic equipment KRAUTKRAMER BRANSON USM3S by means of direct and angular probes KRAUTKRAMER.
defect detection on hardly accessible surfaces
Visual inspection by means of video endoscope OLYMPUS IV 6A. The video endoscopy is used for testing internal, inaccessible surfaces e.g. pipes, blast holes etc. Min. diameter 10 mm, max. diameter is unlimited.
