Production Capacities
PBS ENERGO, a.s. provides for the manufacture of steam, gas expansion turbines with an output of up to 30 MW, spare parts for wind power stations. Cooperates with the external sources.
Welding
Welding of steel structures, components of pressure equipment made of unalloyed, medium-alloyed and high-alloyed steels, cast steel, aluminium, copper, nickel, titanium, zirconium and their alloys using the methods of oxyacetylene welding (311), manual arc welding with coated electrodes (111), arc welding with consumable electrodes under inert/active gas atmosphere – MIG/MAG welding (131/135), arc welding with a tungsten electrode in inert gas – TIG welding (141).
Soldering/Brazing
Soldering/brazing of the above materials (see Welding) using the methods of flame soldering/brazing (912/942) and soldering with a solder iron/lamp (952). The numbers in parentheses correspond to ČSN EN ISO 4063.

Services
PBS ENERGO, a.s. as the manufacturer of steam back-pressure, condensing turbines and expansion turbines offers servicing and maintenance of equipment in operation.
Our services include
- complete guarantee and after-guarantee servicing of the equipment manufactured by První brněnská strojírna Velká Bíteš, a.s. and PBS ENERGO, a.s.
- inspection, vibration measurement, diagnostics of equipment and subsequent repair, including general overhauls, reconstruction and modernization
- repair of rotors of steam turbines
Range of repairs include
- indication, rotor blades dismantling and installation, blade turning, sealing labyrinth replacement, manufacture of blades and tips, journal rolling, thrust disk, complete cleaning and balancing of the rotor
- repair of blade carriers, reblading including milling of parting planes
- complete general overhaul including supply of spare parts
Supplies of spare parts
- manufacture and repair of control and stop valves including provision of patterns for new castings
- nozzle and valve casings - nozzle dismantling, manufacture of new ones, welding and machining
- regulation parts of the shaft, cones, welded chromium-plated or nitrided spindles including Lenz bushes, guide bushings, casings of stop and control valves, automatic start and other regulating elements including control consoles and control systems
- manufacture and repair of oil coolers, repair of seal steam condensers
- oil gear pumps, turbo-pumps, speed controllers, switches, transformers and axial displacement protection
- shafts up to max. ø 2100 mm, max. length 8000 mm, journals, couplings, travelling wheels, jointing material, cap nuts, lip seals, reducing flanges, T-pieces, Y-pieces, spherical washers, tooth wheels, chain wheels, steam and oil seals, lining of composite bearings including ultrasonic tests
- other special components made from castings, forgings or weldments, used in nuclear and conventional power plant engineering, heating plant engineering, chemical, mining and open-cast mining industries etc.
