Metallurgy Division
Dear both present and potential business partners.
Metallurgy Division has been manufacturing precision investment castings since 1969. At present it has 150 employees, and casts complex castings of both low and high-alloy steels and cast iron, but first of all from nickel and cobalt base superalloys. Casting materials are melted either in electric induction furnaces with subsequent stationary casting, or centrifugally in air, or in vacuum furnaces. The casting weight ranges between 0.1 kg and 32 kg. High precision and its reproducibility is achieved by application of special waxes and moulding materials in production.
Overwhelming majority of our products are the castings of turbocharger impeller wheels and guide wheels. Furthermore, we cast gas turbine blades and special castings for aircraft components. We also deliver nickel base superalloy castings to glass industry.
Beside these complex castings we also deliver castings to chemical and automotive industries and for medical purposes to utilize our capacities in full.
Today we deliver our products not only to the firms in the Czech Republic, but also in Germany, Italy, USA, Sweden and Slovakia. Metallurgy Division's laboratories tests mechanical, chemical and structural properties of the castings. Castings can also be inspected with the use of all NDT methods. The whole manufacturing process complies with the quality and environmental management system standards ČSN EN ISO 9001/2001 and ČSN EN ISO 14001/2005 respectively.
